Kitchen: The first 2 pics are befores. Things we've done include installing new window treatments, new cabinet hardware, new rug, artwork, and replacing the range hood. I'd love to replace the countertops, backsplash, light fixture and floors one day, too.
Kitchen was already painted when we moved in.
Stools are from Target, curtains are from Brylane Home (96"). Bamboo shade was on clearance at Kmart, rug is from FLOR, cabinet hardware is from Target.

Laundry Room: First pic is before.
Laundry Room Paint Color: custom mix (I mixed some leftover paint to get this bluish/gray color.

Laundry Room "Curtains": I hung these using a large tension rod. I got some curtain clips at Target, then hung cloth napkins from C&B.

Powder Room: The first pic is a before. The second pic is how we had it for about a year and a half. The bottom pics are how it looks now. Please see the diy section for instructions.

Entryway: Before and After. I replaced the linoleum with vinyl "wood" plank flooring. Hopefully we'll be replacing all the flooring on the first floor with hardwood. This was a cheap and easy temporary fix, though.
